have you considered a feed of CLSIDs to feed into AxBan, instead of requiring users to update? seems like an approach mimicking that in AV systems makes a lot of sense. after all, if users were already patching, they could also start patching their ActiveX controls.
We're hoping to include the auto-update feature on the next version of AxBan, which should be out in the next couple weeks. It would be great to get your input on that release to let us know if your request has been filled. Watch the blog, http://erratasec.blogspot.com/, for more information.
Sounds like a nice tool. BUT, when I try to run it, I get an error message that says the application failed to initialize correctly. What's up with that?
