How to stop the swine flu

Don't do this:

UPDATE: ...or maybe do it. Exposing ourselves to non-dangerous strains may be the best way to build immunity to the dangerous strains.

But Rob, there are NO dangerous strains of the Swine flu today. There MAY be a dangerous version in the future or there may not be. Swine is actually relatively weak compared to most other flu viruses which actually kill more than 30,000 people a year in the USA. Swine by comparison has taken 1 life in the US and perhaps a few dozen at most worldwide.

The biggest damage from Swine is the economic damage from the fear generated by the media and our Vice President. If we listened to the fear mongers, we'd all stay home and never go to work or school again for the rest of the year.

Also somewhat ironically it appears that the current H1N1 "Swine flu" strain hopped to pigs from humans in the first place, so maybe your image is Patient Zero :)
